Poor customer service and very disrespectful. Blocked me after cancelling my order the day before my dauhter's birthday. Unprofessional and disgusting.
I’m sorry Gateaux Bakery, but this review is based on taste not customer service. I would like to say the girl who assisted me in placing my order was nice. However my 6inch cake was $60 and tasted awful. I have to be honest, I’ve tried many cakes and even baked some of my own, but this one was Dried, and bitter. I didn’t taste no vanilla bean and the filling was too sweet. Didn’t try any of the desserts, but at this point I will not be returning. Just wanted to leave my honest opinion.

Spent $60.00 on a birthday cake for my daughter. For $60 at a French bakery I expected a little more detail and a good cake. The decorations were simple lines and a rice paper decal. The cake was supposed to be chocolate with vanilla cream filling. The chocolate cake was light brown and didn't even taste like chocolate, in fact it didn't taste like anything, and the vanilla cream just tasted like the buttercream icing that was on the top. None of the kids would eat it and only a few of the parents ate more than a bite. Very disappointing especially for the price. But most disappointing was that my daughter looked at it and said mom you could've made that and I don't bake. wouldn't recommend it
