Then it hit me. They let me leave... KNOWING what they had done. The manager and all the service men had found the damage looked at it and then not said a word to me... What kind of horrible business lets a customer walk out the door after doing something like that.
With a shrug he proceeded to install the tire on the rim and then looked somewhat unhappy about the results.
I agree with the other reviews. This place is not the best pick for your auto services. Bought a VIP card with them, so it sucks big time... I have to just deal with it and get my money's worth, but I will never go back to this place and would definitely not refer friends and family to this place.....................................
Do not go here!
Once I got home I thought I should have a look at the rim and sure enough they had damaged it. Making what I call teeth marks where the machine had made contact with the rim.
Customer service by owner's son is horrific! I had a negative experience with the pump charging me for premium vs. regular and they would do nothing about it. I reported it to Consumer Affairs and the owner basically dared me to do it. Don't use this gas station!!!
They did correct the issue at no cost to me. (besides time away from work and more waiting in the lobby) I was told that the machine they had could not be used for such large rims and although they knew this when they did mine they had decided to give it a shot anyways. This should have never happened, and more importantly they should have informed me before I left! shady business!
This is when things started to go poorly. First I should explain that the rims are 'deep dish' style and have a large amount of back spacing. I watched as the service man stood over the machine and looked at the rim and tire. He looked perplexed about what to do (not exactly what you want to see when having your car serviced.)
I went in for a state inspection and had to get new rear tires. I bought new tires online and brought them in to have them installed and the inspection finished.
He called over the manager and had him look at the rim after installing it on the car. Then two other service guys showed up and did the same. They then used rags where the machine contacts the rim for the next one... I thought this was very odd but after waiting so long for them to do this simple task and finish the inspection I paid and got out of there.
After waiting for an obnoxiously long time (think on the order of several hours even after calling ahead) they pulled my car in and removed the rear tires and treads. They prepped the new tires and went to fit them on the rims.
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! Bought a VIP to use here, and now they don't honor it anymore. Have to go to another shop. Thing is, the one and only time I went in, they took off my oil cap and NEVER PUT IT BACK ON. Now, I have no oil cap. On one hand, I'm kind of glad I don't have to go back to this place. The staff was rude and it took them almost an hour and a half to change my oil (WITH AN APPOINTMENT). I don't see how any other service station could be this bad, so I'll be looking forward to moving my business elsewhere...
