Little maintanence on park sites. Office opens n closes at there own pace. Supposed to be 8-4 Mon.-Fri. No weekends. In all our travels the biting knats, mosquitoes, spiders were BEYOND TERRIBLE. Manager stated "maybe they will get around to it twice a year!" Several (many) tall trees were dead and needed to be removed. If they had been removed, one camper wouldn't have had one fall on his 5th wheel, causing severe damage. The campground is VERY nosey, being right next to a main road, with a stoplight right outside the park. Currently big rigs are running ALL night long doing massive construction on the base, that we are told this will be going on for several years.There are many semi-permanent residences, and we were given the impression, passing through campers, weren't needed. Laundry and showers were clean. Because of the careless attitude of massive bug problems we would NOT stay there again.
It's small but quite. Bathhouse only has two showers and two stalls (women side don't know about the men side) there is a bird view section that has a wonderful view of the sunrise.
Quiet. Coy. Only 30 amp. Friendly and helpful staff.

Be prepared to carry your tent/gear for a short 5 minute walk. It's not far and you're not super close to other campers which was a plus for us. Showers and bathroom were nice and had ac! A nice surprise. Also they have free laundry facilities you just need to bring soap.
