We are a military family that when we got orders to Virginia Beach, I worried about finding the right school for our children. After finding Star of the Sea School and my kids attending for 2 years now, I know that I not only made the right choice, but would never send my kids anywhere else! They are exceptionally military friendly, have an awesome staff, a challenging curriculum, and fantastic athletics. We are very grateful to the school that our children have thrived so much both academically and socially.
My family has been very happy at Star of the Sea Catholic School. We left another Catholic School in the area and haven't regretted our decision for a minute. We were quickly taken in by the other families and our children made friends quickly. The academics, sports, clubs and faith-based activities are outstanding! We love our little school by the big sea!
Attended K-8th grade and LOVED sos! Still think of it, sand castle day, the mile run... a lucky childhood experience!
Fantastic school! My children have attended here for several years. I've been a fan of the teaching staff since the beginning. Several changes over the last year with the administrative staff have been VERY positive and have only made the school better! The kids all look out for each other (doesn't matter what grade they're in) and the teachers stay engaged with the students even after they've moved on to a higher grade.
