Just left there and was asked by the security guard for my receipts after following me to the car. He said that someone told him they saw me not go through the cashier line. now I ask a question was it because I was black? I went to the manager and all they could say was I'm sorry, well sorry is not good enough when you are accusing someone of stealing right in front of their ten-year-old daughter! word to the wise be careful you might just be profiled. Up until this situation I really like going there for my island food..Now I will have to find another venue.

Great selection & prices. Wonderful produce department, especially for the unusual & exotic (by American standards). Good hot lunch! Recently renovated seafood department is much cleaner & smells better!
I only wish they would post signs in English explaining what some of these goodies are, and how to prepare them!
This is a great place to get spices, ingredients for dishes that is not sold in a standard American grocery. The produce prices are very reasonable. They even have a section dedicated to pots and pans and other cookware to make your ethnic dishes authentic. (Clay pots, woks, bamboo steamer baskets etc)
I don't know why this has such a low rating. It has great prices and I've even seen items in bulk (ramen noodle bowls) that cost twice as much anywhere else. The only reason my rating isn't full stars is because of the cleanliness. The whole place needs a weekend of deep cleaning. Other than that it's a great place to find international goodies. Please rate responsibly!
Love this place! The smell of fish gets you when you first walk in but you get used to it fast. They have a huge huge huge selection of produce and seafood. Their selections are amazing. I will be coming here each week for our fresh veggies.
