My girlfriend and I rented a tent site for a week in July thinking it would be cheap alternative to a hotel and fun experience. For the most part it was aside from the constant onslaught of mosquito's. Keep in mind we are avid campers and are used to putting up with them especially during the summer months, but this was just absurd. We keep the tent sealed up all day, had 2 tiki torches with citronella fuel, several citronella candles, half a dozen cans of bug spray and it still wasn't enough. At one point my girlfriend had on a hoody, pants, gloves, a hat on and a blanket over her head to sleep INSIDE the tent. We got next to no sleep every night, but we stuck it out and didn't complain. We figured the campground itself doesn't have control of the mosquito population so no reason to be mad at them. HOWEVER half way through our stay my grandpa who was in the hospital took a turn for the worse so we were forced to leave early. We talked to one of the supervisors there and they assured us we would be reimbursed for the days left in our stay because we paid for the week upfront. I left my credit card details with the lady at the desk and expected I would see a refund in the next week or so but I was wrong. After emailing them several times with no reply I finally get an email back saying sorry they were out of town and they would look into it for me, but they never got back to me. They continue to ignore my emails so I'm hoping someone sees this and reaches out.

Great experience at this campground! Owners were very friendly, grounds are quaint, clean bathrooms/showers. There are kayaks and canoes for rent ($9) that run along the small campground channel to the bay and a large pavilion with chairs and swings for relaxing. The pool and rec room are both well kept. Only advice is that tent camp spots do not come with grill, only a fire pit. Only a 10 minute drive from Sandbridge beach! Had a great time!

Great no frills camping, cabins are clean and there is AC in sleeping area! Family friendly atmosphere, rec room, fishing, canoe & kayak rental (reasonable rates). Well groomed and managed. Bath house is clean plenty of hot water with good pressure. Overall a great place a couple of miles from the beach.

A fantastic experience. The owner is pleasant, helpful and keeps the ground in great condition. Free donuts and coffee in the morning! A super-clean Campground that is only minutes from the beach with a pool and a rec room if you'd rather not drive!

Nice place. Great owners. I have to dock a few stars because they need an enforced quiet time rule. It's almost 11 and people are blaring their music and other people are being really loud, kids are screaming, some guy is using a loud electric chain saw to cut his wood. At 10:45. And the owner is walking around like it's not a problem. Other than that, lovely location, well kept.
