We had a great time with our four boys aged 2-16 this weekend! So happy we booked this last-minute trip! Lots of shade trees and things to do. Loved the food trucks. Pedal carts were super fun. Staff was very friendly and nice. I've never seen more attentive and actively engaged lifeguards. Every time I heard a jet, I was grateful my soldier was camping with me and not away from home. We will be back!
This campsite has a LOT to offer!! The site has WiFi. Kids have a great main play area with a "jump pad" and "blob", swimming pool, swing sets, jungle gyms, etc... They also have "Kamp K9" for the dogs. Weekend campers as well as extended stay campers are here. You can camp in your own tent ⛺ or stay in one of their cabins. The General Manager of the site is really friendly and can tell you some fun places to go around town. A definite recommendation for visitors to Virginia Beach!!
Awesome campground! Clean, safe, lots of things to do on site and 2 miles to the beach. You can drive, bike ride ,walk or take shuttle to the beach
Haven't even checked in yet and they they have moved mine and two other friends of ours sites all over the place with no notice or explanation. Made the reservation and paid for the sites months ago so that our families could share this experience together. Although they have a policy of not guaranteeing sites the lady I was working with made it happen and we were excited but, now, not so much. When asked the why we were moved the employee stated that she doesn't know when, why, or by who. Furthermore their system can't even tell you which employee set up our reservation. Then she went on to say that you have to request to "lock your site in" to make sure you keep the site you were assigned but, the lady that was working with me never offered us that. Weird since she knew we were trying to get three sites next to each other. Sad. I read many reviews of this place and a lot of them negative but, decided to give it a chance and so far I'm not impressed. I'll update you after this weekend as to how the rest of my stay was and if the negative reviews of this place is accurate or not. :(
Super clean for the amount of people that fill the campground. Great staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. All the info and comforts you need right in the park. Just a few miles from the hustle and bustle of the beach. Best for children
