Corey's automotive is the only place I trust and will take my car too! They are friendly, affordable and fast service. I had to get my oil changed for a trip and it was 5 o'clock on a Tuesday. They had me in and out in less than an hour without any prior notice! Awesome service!
We found them in early 2015 after taking our vehicle in to another shop in the area. The other shop gave us a $2000+ quote after a 2 minute inspection of the car so we decided we needed to find another shop and moved the car to Corey's.
My experience with Corey's Automotive Repair Shop was a unique one. I'm a chemical engineering senior from Louisiana State University interning with a publishing company selling educational books door to door. With 10% oil in my car, I desperately needed an oil change. Right at 8:00 AM, I caught Jeff walking into the shop. He quickly took my information, inspected my vehicle and even dropped me off so i could work while the car was being serviced. Jeff even offered to pick me up again and bring me back to the shop. Coolest part, Jeff and Susan picked up a book to help their high schoolers prepare for their incoming AP courses. Hands down best automotive shop i've ever been to, and i will definitely be returning before my long drive back to Baton Rouge! Corey's Automotive Repair Shop is affordable, professional, timely, and caring.
We had an old truck that I basically needed to keep running until my husband returned from deployment as it was our only car and we weren't in the market for a better one yet.
It was basically like having family work on the car instead of a shop. I wish we had a place like this where we live now!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My husband and I are new to the VA beach area; our BMW X5 was having air conditioner issues. Jeff Corey (the owner) updated me every step of the way while he was trying to figure out what was wrong. There was a leak in the high line and there was dye on the line and the compressor. He was very honest and told me he didn't think the compressor was leaking but wasn't sure. He recommended to replace the line and put more freon in and re-test it. Sure enough it was just the line. He replaced it and charged a very fair price for the part and labor. This shop has definitely earned my TRUST, and I will be back very soon for him to do some work on our other BMW.
I have been going to Corey's for a few years now, they are always honest and professional. Jeff (the owner) works with each and every customer to make sure their needs are met and are 100% satisfied. I highly recommend them.

I would take it to Corey's and Jeff knew about our situation and would do everything he could to keep it going and keep it inexpensive. He even loaned me a vehicle once when it needed to be in for a couple days.
During this time we had a tech who installed our power steering lines incorrectly causing my power steering to fail on I-64 and over-quoted us on brakes. The response was to fire the technician! I felt this really went to show that Jeff and his employees are all about honesty unlike a lot of repair shops.
For the rest of the time we lived in the Virginia Beach area, we took our vehicles to Coreys.
