A nice staff at the front desk and at the cafe/bar.
Experience was excellent. Curtis at the front desk was absolutely the best. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant. The Sunday buffet was very good. The omelet man knows how to make an omelet.
I spent 2 nights here for vacation and it was perfect. Right next to the boardwalk. Comfortable rooms. Modern furniture. Firm beds. The only downside is that you're kind of far from the action but if you like some peace and quiet you probably prefer being further away.
Right on the boardwalk! Plenty of parking - no valet - at the hotel's parking lot across the street; though no signs to indicate it is for the Courtyard Marriot. The parking lot at the hotel is quiet limited, and consider yourself lucky if you find a spot.
It was nice. I enjoyed the balcony on the beach and watching the dolphins. Kind staff. The room was nice but could have been cleaner. Specifically the bathroom tub and floor and a couple spots on my bed sheets. I'll try another hotel the next time I'm out , but this hotel is nice.
I would have to say this place is overrated. I'm not sure about every customer service rep that works there but the one that my girlfriend and I had to deal with was very rude. One she did not even acknowledge us as we walked in she was too busy doing whatever she was doing. Two the indoor pool was full of sand because people will come from the beach and get in the pool also it seems as if the inside of the pool was a little rusted and some spots didn't look good in pictures. Outside pool was a beautiful sight could have been a little cleaner but good. I don't know what the restaurant downstairs was offering because we didn't eat there. One thing that has me turned off about this hotel is the fact that we paid our money and didn't get the room that we paid for we are a couple. My girlfriend and I would have liked a room with one bed instead we got a room with two beds and paid a full price and didn't even know that the room that we reserved was given away or not ready until we got an email saying our reservation was cancelled, Yet a day or two later we overheard the lady at the front desk dealing with another couple an older couple who also had the same situation happened to them and they were asked if they wanted to wait for room. How come we weren't handled like that??. We didn't have that experience we paid about $600+ to have an extra bed and no type of accommodation towards that room confusion. The view from the balcony is great it's right on the beach and the beach is very clean the hotel is very clean. Room service was friendly. I myself just didn't like the customer service that we received. Great place to go for family fun hopefully you don't get a rude ass customer service rep.
It is quiet.
A humble indoor swimming pool and a hot pool. Though the vapours coming out of the hot pool is a bit uncomfortable. There is no shower at the pool. The outside pool is wonderful. The children play in and out of the miniature falls while parents can just enjoy relaxing at the bar or just recline right there watching their children or reading a book.
