Peddle was broken and the guard blocking the wheel was missing. My daughters foot slipped off broken peddle, went into the wheel. She has a potential broken ankle. Currently at hospital. The worker pointed to a sign that said "no one one 14 operate vehicle unless accompanied by 18 year or older" . The dip share couldn't understand that I'm 40 years old and she is 7, that meets the definition of the rule. They state they have no incident report policy and I came down. OldeSt daughter and wife enroute to hospital in ambulance.
Not a great place to rent a bike. We used the 11th st location. The person manning that place was most unhelpful. We rented two bikes but were given no choices at all. We had to take whatever he had. Consider renting from some other places. I think you can find better deals
The small surrey we rented was in good shape, and the service was friendly. We had a lot of fun. I would note that the surrey was a LOT harder to pedal than expected (this was my first time renting one) - an hour was plenty of time. I think this is just how they are rather than being a maintenance issue.
It was very easy to rent bikes. We got 2 bikes for an hour and it was under $20. They even had roller blades that you could rent, which was a surprise but I'll definitely be back.
