From the first moment I knew we had picked a winner! The staff is amazing, friendly, accommodating...Always a smile! Food was wonderful, we had meatloaf dinner and an excellent breakfast with a made at the ready omelette bar. Neyeli was our helper for breakfast & she took such good care of us! The grounds are beautiful, peaceful & well kept- they even have a playground for kids! Room was spacious with a great shower. We literally have no reason to come back to the area, yet I find myself looking for reasons so we can come here again!
Amazing, quality experience! The staff is great and extremely helpful and the food and wait staff were friendly. The food was definitely worth walking downstairs for and the prices were not any different than most restaurants. The Founders property is huge and very well kept. Overall this is definitely at the top of my list of places to stay in the area.
Nice space for a convention with two restaurants on-site. One more casual and one sit down. The larger restaurant usually features a buffet during events that is quite good. A nice salad bar, several dessert options and several entrees that fit a variety of palates and food sensitivities. The space is clean, upscale and large enough for speakers in a variety of rooms. Morning coffee and tea is served with some danishes and fruit. Overall, I enjoy coming here each year for the conference I attend.
Stayed over night and had to go to an event for work. The founders inn was a very nice place. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast we had there was very good. Where our meeting was held was very open and unlike some of the other places we have had events like this, it did not get uncomfortably hot during our meeting
Was only there for a half day conference. Parking lot got pretty full, some people had to park far. Meeting room was very cold. Seating was done nicely, tables were arranged so that no one had to face backwards and turn around for the presentation. Waiters were prompt at removing dishes. Breakfast buffet had limited choices, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, Potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, a few pastries. Coffee was provided with very small cups. Water and soft drinks provided, but no diet varieties. Snack early afternoon consisted of make your own trail mix. Sound system was difficult to hear in the back of the room, especially with the air conditioner on (which was most of the entire conference.)
