I'm giving this place 2 stars only because the towels/bedding/carpet were clean and the location was great (there's a burrito place right out the front door!)...but the customer services was awful and the property itself seems to be falling into disrepair.
The lock on our door was broken and we had slam the door shut to get it to close all the way. Same issue with the bathroom door! The paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling, the tile was stained on the floor in the tub, and the common areas where disheveled and really sketchy looking.
The room had a nice view, pool was refreshing and the beds clean and comfortable. The bathrooms we clean, plenty of fresh towels and the fridge and microwave worked fine. Staff were helpful and friendly for the price you can't beat it! Location great like three minutes from the beach! Yes it's not a 5 star hotel and it's a bit rundown,but a little paint and some TLC could go far.However it is what it is. Great for a short stay can't beat the price.
I personally did not stay at this hotel and from what I saw I would never stay at this hotel. It smelled, paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling in the bathroom as well as mold visible....Smh...I'm surprised this place is still opened. However location to the beach is great.
I only gave this hotel a 1 because I had to in order to continue with my review. First let me start by saying maintenance and front desk staff were helpful when needed. The first day our refrigerator stopped working and two of the maintenance guys were at our room within 20 mins with a new one. I cannot complain about any of those aspects. However, there was food left in our fridge from the previous occupants I assume. Their was snuff in one of the dresser drawers. Not in a can either. I assume this is what it was. Too dark to be dirt. I asked for washcloths and the house keeper told me she would get them. An hour later I had to ask again and low and behold one of the maintenance men told me he would get them after she said I'd have to wait until everything got washed. A manager I assume was there and told her to give me the washcloths that the empty rooms could wait to b filled. The housekeeping staff was loud loud loud! Hollering up and down the hall... Banging stuff around. Not friendly at all when u passed them in the halls and if anything we felt like an inconvenience. We couldn't sleep in because of the noise and sometimes had to turn the TV up loud enough to drown them out. And I had to google the remote codes to operate our TV so that the remote would work because the buttons on the TV did not. Then today as we were leaving not a single noise.... Our whole stay was filled with rowdy loud obnoxious housekeeping staff who apparently do not enjoy or even appreciate their jobs and the day we leave not a single person n the halls. I will not return to this establishment. I hate that my normal hotel was not available for this last minute trip because I anticipate my stay would have been much more enjoyable.
I stayed here June 3rd & The location of this motel is great, and that's about where the positives stop. Upon arriving (on time) to check in, we were told that they didn't have any clean rooms available. We waited for about an hour while the line of people waiting behind us grew. The girl at the front desk was new, so I won't fault her for not knowing what she was doing...but she told us "If I could refer you to a different hotel, I would. I wouldn't stay here..." The other woman appeared to have her kid behind the desk, which definitely wasn't helping move things along (cute kid, though!) Now, if that had been the worst part of our stay I could have let it slide and given that place a chance...
This was a small economical Hotel one Street across from the beach with views of the beach. There is a park on the beach which sits between the hotel and the beach so you have good reviews of the ocean and it was much less expensive then hotels right on the beach yet you get close to the same view. The room was very comfy with nice furniture and a balcony facing the ocean. The rooftop pool was a gem. We were able to swim while having a wonderful view of the ocean even during sunset it was beautiful. The Hotel is located near several shops and places to eat and a trolley will take you farther if you don't want to drive. My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful time and are planning on going back this coming summer. There is really nothing negative I could say about our experience at this hotel. Everything was really great.
