If there was a way to leave a "ZERO STAR" I would. I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and I was very pleased with the room. I usually do a sweep of the room before leaving to make sure we did not forget anything. We didn't have the kids this time so I bypassed this and we checked out of the room. As soon as we started driving I realized that I left my $2,000 gold diamond earrings that were an anniversary present to me, siting on the marble top of the sink against the wall because they were getting caught in the hair brush while drying my hair. I was very careful to place them so they could not fall down the sink, but the top was plenty big to assure this. It was mainly black and swirled with other colors including gold, therefore my earrings blended in very well. I called the hotel immediately and the manager said he was going to check with housekeeping to see if the earrings were found. I told him that if they were not turned in that his maids decided that they were obviously going to keep them therefore I consider them a "thief." He asked me if I was accusing his maid of being a thief and asked him if he was really asking me an idiotic question such as this. If I just checked out of my room and am 100% sure that my earrings were left on the sink against the wall and the maids cleaned my room, then definitely, 100% I am calling them a thief. They knew that we just checked out of the room, all they had to do was turn them into the front desk and they would have easily been able to notify me and returned my earrings. This did not happen so therefore, as far as I am concerned they employ very dishonest people and I definitely consider them a THIEF!!!!! Its really a shame because I was telling my family that I really loved this hotel and this was going to be our place to stay from now on. I definitely changed my mind after this and can't believe that the hotel did nothing to try to make this right!!!!! They should have reimbursed me for my earrings, especially since their employee kept them. I know I left them behind but there was a 100% full proof way to know who they belonged to and return them to me.
This was more of an $80 experience than the $200 I paid. The room smelled a little like dog. The bathrooms were cramped, poorly lit, and underwhelming. The pool deck was slick and slimy, and the pool itself just looked dirty. Also, there were about a million kids staying in seven or so rooms around us, and they were yelling to each other on the decks all night. Upside, the staff was friendly and responsive. The beds weren't to shabby, and the view was really nice. Overall, I've had better experiences for the same price.
The hotel location is very nice and the beach side view is amazing. The decor is okay and the rooms are a bit dated. You can see that they are attempting to upgrade their look and their Heating and Cooling however they had cracks and peeling paint in some areas of the room that needed attention. The staff is super friendly very hospitable and I love the valet parking included with the rooms. The food downstairs at their local restaurant was pricey but every bit worth it you receive a generous portion of flavorful explosions and I would pay for it again. Overall my experience was good however some of the dated issues is why I cannot give this place five stars, but if you are big on customer service and good food you will enjoy this hotel
Great location, overall good and dog friendly hotel. Great food and nice staff. Free wallet parking is a nice plus. A bit dated interior with wallpaper coming off on several areas. Also, housekeeping did not clean regularly (every 2-3 days on average).
I took my wife for her Birthday. There were very good amenities with a beach front view. Romantic get a way or just to unwind. I mainly give this 5 star rating to the Manager at this facility. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure it was memorable and our stay was stress free!
