Generally overstaffed with employees that don't know much about their products whatsoever. Some items overpriced but they typically price match if you're willing to go through that mess. Basically the only reason best buys exists still is for old people to buy laptops and TV's and young people to try out a product before they buy it online. Recommend going o try out your product but don't waste your time with the employees.
My visit to Best Buy was probably the best visit I have ever had at any electronic appliances store. I came in to purchase a new TV. Brian was the first best buy employee to approach me. I told him I was thinking about purchasing a Sony TV verses the Samsung upon my own research and opinion. He was able to inform me about the Sony product I was purchasing and answered every single question I had for him in full detail. I then proceeded to look around the store and realized I wanted a new sound system as well. I made the effort to find Brian again regardless if best buy employees are not on commission anymore. He not only found me the BEST possible deal for a 3.1 sound system in the store, but he was again able to answer all of my ridiculous questions about set-up, how it works, how to connect the sound system to the TV, etc. TOTALLY into his job and knew so much about everything it made me feel very comfortable and appreciative that he was able to assist me. If I have anymore problems or need a purchase, I am going back to find him. The most amazing service I've ever had. The store deserves 5 stars, but Brian deserves 10.
We bought a 70" TV that later was offered at a lower price. Manager Nick in the Va Beach store worked with us to help us get a price match. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He did what he said he was going to do- which is refreshing. I highly recommend this store and will buy our future electronics from here, as well.
This store is always clean and well stocked. There’s always plenty of people around to help if you have any questions, the product displays are always on and working, and it’s a very trendy looking store. Their willingness to price match competitors products makes sure I’m getting my items instantly and at the best price.
This is the worst run Best Buy in the area. I spend thousands at Best Buy each year on equipment for our company. I've found that when I need to return/exchange defective items they try not honor it. I purchased a 60" TV that was delivered with undamaged packaging, only to find the TV had a bend in the screen. The staff (Ashley) tried to tell me I was to late when my online receipt would said I had two more weeks. Ashley then said I broke the TV. I told her that I didn't break the TV, that it was like that when we received it. Other Best Buy locations in the area have never treated my like I was trying to rip them off. Something about this particular location seems to have the least helpful staff.
